Giantplus Technology Implements Sustainable Development to Create Sustainable Corporate Value
Explanation of Giantplus Technology's Sustainable Development Promotion and Operation
Since 2013, Giantplus Technology has established a CSR Editorial Team to better align with international standards and integrate the functions of various internal units. The team has successively published eight CSR reports, reporting to the public on Giantplus Technology’s concrete achievements in corporate social responsibility. In 2022, to meet the sustainability development needs of the government and stakeholders, the team was renamed the Sustainability Development Project Promotion Team, and Giantplus Technology issued its first Sustainability Report for 2021. To date, five sustainability reports have been published, continuously optimizing sustainability development efforts. On December 20, 2023, Giantplus Technology established its Sustainability Development Policy, combining various actions to formulate optimization plans. In 2024, authorized by the General Manager, the ESG Promotion Office was established, with the office appointed as convener. In November 2024, the Sustainability Development Project Promotion Team was renamed the Sustainability Development Promotion Committee, which promotes and formulates the “Green Proactive Net Zero Plan” from a management perspective. On July 14, 2025, the Board of Directors approved the establishment of a Functional Sustainability Development Committee, chaired by Director Lu Xinchen, with members including Independent Directors Chen Zhongren and Liao Jingwen. This committee is responsible for integrating sustainability initiatives into business strategies, reviewing sustainability-related implementation plans, supervising and evaluating execution effectiveness, and submitting annual implementation plans and results to the Board of Directors. Through a top-down governance mechanism, the company’s sustainability development is strengthened.
The Sustainable Development Committee has established the Sustainable Development Promotion Office (ESG Promotion Office) to assist the committee in advancing various projects. It was established with the authorization of the General Manager, who also appointed Assistant Manager Xu of the ESG Promotion Office as the ESG convener. The Sustainable Development Promotion Office is divided into several functional groups, including the "Corporate Governance Group," "Environmental Group," and "Social Group." These groups are composed of representatives appointed by the heads of each operational unit and are assigned according to the responsibilities of each unit. They serve as the executing units for managing the company's sustainable development issues, consolidating the concerns and expectations of key stakeholders regarding the company's various sustainable development topics, and reporting the implementation status of sustainable development to the committee.
The company formulated the Sustainable Development Code of Practice on December 25, 2014, and implemented it after approval by the Board of Directors.

Discussions are held during the meeting, and decisions are made accordingly. Finally, the ESG convener submits the decisions to the chairman for approval.
